Popa Dunc's Fruit Salad

Ingredients
3 Kiwi fruit 1 C Pecan pieces
2 navel oranges 1 Red Rome apple
2 Bartlett pears 2 Granny Smith apples
15 oz can sliced peaches 20 oz can pineapple tidbits
1 C sweetened grated coconut 2 C red seedless grapes - halved
2 C white seedless grapes - halved 2 C black seedless grapes - halved
10 oz jar maraschino cherries - drained 2 bananas - yellow peels with no brown spots
1 pt container of fresh strawberries if available  

Directions

In a large bowl pour in pineapple tidbits with juice, cut up oranges into tidbit size pieces and they go in next, cut peaches in tidbit size pieces and they go in with their juice, mix, next go in apples in tidbit sizes, then the pears, grapes, cherries, mix, strawberries, kiwis, bananas and coconut and pecans, mix well and put in a deep bowl and cover and put in fridge so that it can mingle and make a flavorful juice. If you do not find the fruit mix to be sweet enough for your taste you may add whatever amount of sugar you desire mixed in well. Fruit salad is best made several days ahead of serving and kept well chilled.
