2 Cup Crab meat |
1⁄2 Teaspoon Salt |
1 Cup Onions, chopped |
4 Tablespoon Margarine |
1 slice Bread in �" cubes |
1⁄4 Teaspoon Tobasco sauce |
1⁄2 Cup Bell pepper, chopped |
1⁄4 Teaspoon Cayenne pepper |
1⁄2 Cup Green onion, chopped |
1 Tablespoon Parsley, chopped |
Saut� vegetable in margarine in a large saucepan over medium heat until edges are slightly browned. Add rest of ingredients except bread crumbs and cook 15-20 minutes stirring often until mixture holds together well. Remove from fire and fill clean crab shells or small ramekins until slightly rounded. Pat bread crumbs over meat mixture and top each crab with a pat of butter. Bake at 350� for 30 minutes or until tops are golden brown. If you don't have crab meat you can use cooked flaked fish, cooked coarsely ground shrimp or crawfish. For a special treat use a little of each plus 3 or 4 cooked cut up oysters!
